Garlic bread

Garlic bread tastes at least twice as good from the grill and on the snow bench as it does at home.

Ingredients (for 2 persons)

  • 2 baguettes
  • 60g butter
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • Spices (e.g. salt, pepper, paprika, curry)
  • Herbs (e.g. parsley, chives, rosemary, thyme)

Accessories

  • Grill bowl / fire pit with rack
  • Baking tin (e.g. firepot lid) or aluminium foil
  • Grill cover
  • Small bowl

Preparation

  1. Put the butter in a small bowl and let soften.
  2. Chop the garlic cloves and add to the butter. Add spices and herbs to taste.
  3. Cut the baguettes in half and spread with the garlic butter.
  4. Place the baguettes in the baking dish or on the aluminium foil and place on the rack. Cover with the bonnet and bake until the baguettes are golden brown and the butter has melted.
